This was one of the first large “stamp sets” that I created. It was a huge collection of stamps featuring the whip, hat, jeep, leaves, snakes… I hate snakes.. and more. It was given to a few members of my original DT to see what they could created. This post is in their honor.
Prior to his first real set I had just been creating a bunch of one off stamps and just learning about the stamping process and the art of designs for stampers. I had spent the first 5 years of my company learning how to make cards, how to color them in, testing out small sets, and just working with my original DT and customers. It is amazing to see where things are now. My stamping and art have evolved and I can’t wait to see what we look like in another 10 years. These samples were created by Kelly from MyBucketOverfloweth As you can see I took the Adventure (It’s a Jungle Out There) stamp set and went Indiana Jones with it!
The DP and CS I used are from the Paper Salon’s Rugged collection. The Green DP is from Karen Foster and the Black CS is from Recollections. All stamped images were stamped using Amuse Black ink and colored with Copic markers unless stated otherwise. If you want to learn how she made any of the items you see be sure to visit her website for more information. She offers a full breakdown of how she created this game!
